Dr. Hongmei Li (Ph.D., University of Southern California) is a tenured associate professor and the coordinator of Strategic Communication at Miami University of Ohio. Her research interests include advertising and consumer culture, new technologies, Chinese media and society, nation branding and public diplomacy, global communication, gender and sexuality, and corporate social responsibility. She is the author of Advertising and Consumer Culture in China and editor of The Middle Class Phenomenon in Emerging Markets: Consumers, Lifestyles and Societies.
